Charlie
Charlie had spent her life in a steel cage. Understandably she didn’t like humans and would bite.
Emma convinced Charlie’s owner to sell her to Brightside and give her a chance at a better life. Well, life at Brightside has changed Charlie, now she loves humans, talks to everyone and loves pats!
Charlie lives in our huge aviary at Brightside with over 30 galahs and corellas who have been freed from lives of isolation in small cages.
Her favourite spot is the shelf by the aviary door so she can catch every passing person and bale them up for a chat.
